Roberto Balanzoni, Eurosets’ R&D Technical Laboratory Manager, joined Eurosets – in a purpose-built and then integrated engineering newco – in 2005.
What impressed you about Eurosets and what would you tell someone who doesn't know the company?
“A company that was born with the ‘dream’ of joining the biggest competitors on the market, has succeeded over the years in affirming itself and making itself known and appreciated also for its great ability to ‘listen’ to the customer.”
Since you have been with the company, what is the project you have worked on that best represents the spirit of the company?
“I have worked on many projects, but certainly in first person on all the Oxygenators in the cardiopulmonary line; the ones that particularly belong to me are the Horizon and the Remowell 2. we have succeeded in presenting a unique reservoir with exclusive functional and construction features. We have placed a lot of attention to the limited use of solvents, resins, additives, etc., with a view to making the processing steps low-impact for production employees and the environment.”
